Woke up to an alarm today. I mean I woke from a deep slumber, wondering just why hasn't Mike shut his alarm off, and why an I having to listen to it? It turns our it was my own alarm, and he was long gone by that time. I just wanted to linger there for another few hours...oh, cept I had to get up to babysit, and that makes me smile, so I did just that.

I was a few minutes early, so we had time to chat a bit before Alisha left for work. She had no idea my boss was bordering here, no idea that Caitlyn had broke things off with Willy (finally, YAY!)...We really should communicate more, I guess. Yeah, Caitlyn is no single, and she is now working with me once more. Seems she needed a full time job, and this was the only one that landed in her lap. Hard to find one when you don't go looking. Anyway, Aurelia and I went in to Mickey D's to see her on her first day. Seems Cait is doing well, and the baby was elated to see her there. Got to see Grama-Auntie Kay, too. She ate scrambled eggs and pancakes, and I had a lil something.

We met up with Brittany at Costco, where I finally bought an MP3 player. A real one, not one associated with my phone. I hope to figure it out someday...I had a coupon, and I really wanted it. I then took Aurelia with me towards a thrift shop, and she fell asleep in the car. I figured she would wake up as soon as I turned it off, so I did that, 'cept she didn't wake up, she merely hung on my chest the entire time. A little old man inside says to me (and I swear I can't make this up), "Looks like she really crapped out on you". This gets me to laughing yet she still slept through that. I did not end up buying anything, jsut came home, where she was wide awake and raring to go. We ate lunch here, and played and played and played. I brought her Little Tykes swing that I gave her for Easter, since they have never used it. I put it out on a tree branch and she LOVED it. I tried to get her to nap, but she just wasn't having any of that. Guess her parents had a Miss Cranky Pants tonight, or perhaps the other grama will tomorrow. oops...

Mike and I went to a new Chinese Buffet joint for dinner. It was actually pretty good. Lots of seafood, I saw sushi, and something that resembled beef, but the sign said, "beef ball", so I passed on it. It was nice seeing him, we haven't seen each other since Monday. I really hate the overnight shift, it really messes me up. I want to put my foot down, and say never again to it.
