We are trying at work to get things organized. That will make it easier for so many things. Ordering is the biggest concern on my list. I will need to place an order tomorrow before heading for home, and it just HAS to be better than the one I did last week. Last week I was set up to fail, and fail I did....miserably. We are running out of friggen EVERYTHING! Seriously, I would shoot me if I was the boss. Thankfully she seems to understand that it wasn't entirely my fault, but I swear to do a better job this time. I will actually have another manager on hand, so I can pull off the floor, and spend some quality time with it. It will be daylight, and I can go outside to the shed and see what is there. Oh well...wish me luck!

I am also doing the same organizing stuff here at home. We are still trying to empty out the back room, and then using it for all things storage. We have too much crap! Some is from Mikes parents home, and they both died back in 1985. Since he only has one sister, with which he hasn't spoken to in over twenty years, he feels some sort of need to cling to some of it. I got his dads lounge chair away from him a few years ago on the stipulation he can't have a new one unless he got rid of that one. My brother has had their dining room table all these years, and we used the chairs to it. SInce I did away with the table we used, we have no need fot the chairs these days. Ethan Allen chairs, in good shape, several years old...any takers? to my brother Mike, do you want them? Possesion in 9/10's the law, isn't it? I still have no need for that elegant table. To my little sister: do you want the old vanity that was in your dads family all those years ago? It is taking up space here, and it should be yours.

At two o'clock this morning, we were all jolted out of sleep, with the sound of big, explosive fireworks. It was so loud, and so close, I thought perhaps someone was in our yard lighting them off. There was perhaps only 5 or 6 of them, but so loud, the bed shook. I could then hear the fuse burning before the next one. SInce we have the window so blocked, we didn't notice the light show, but we were told today from out neighbor he was also sppoked, and was able to look out his window while in bed, and could see them from the empty lot on the other side of our home, just past the next house. My heart was pounding, and of course the dog went ballistic. I had a hard time getting back to sleep, and I had bad dreams for the rest of the night. I dreamt the house had bit hit by artillary,a nd the media was inside filming. I was yelling at them to get out, we would fix it, eventually. Yeah, I have weird dreams.

Tonight we had BBQ chicken, rice and corn on the cob. Bobbie says she has never eaten so steadily, that she is liking it. So much so, that she has decided to do the dishes each night she is here. Must be hard to be away from your kids, and your husband. I hope it is all worth it for her. On the bright side, her husband found a job in the Dallas area, and is currently looking for housing for them. With two incomes, instead of only hers, it will happen one day, although I will miss her as my boss. It isn't healthy to be this close to your boss, I hope it doesn't came back and bite me in the butt one day....short term only. On the bright side, we are getting along great. She metioned that we seem to have the same taste in food, and I said that is probably why we have the same body types...not so good there.
