Sleep is Wonderful!

WOW!

To just climb into bed at a decent hour, and start the relaxing process does a body wonders! I have been reading a book titled, "When Madeline Was Young" by author Jane Hamilton. It is from the perspective of a kid growing up, with his family, and his father's first wife. She was injured in a bicycle accident soon after their wedding, and suffered severe brain injuries. She was a perinial 7 yr old, in a womans fully functioning body. (well, minus the hysterectomy)....anyway, my point on the book, is there is no stoppage points, just long chapters, it seems. Gets frustrating trying to comprehend all the way to a good stop. Like that makes any sense.

Work has been fabulous. With Diva Dos there, and him seeing me in such a good mood daily. He never saw that while we were together at the other store. I was never this content there. Next time they move me for any reason, I will just quit. Seriously, I cannot take being that unhappy in such a crappy job. Hell with 4 weeks paid vacation, one needs to be in a good mood for that 40 hours per week.

I am sorry if I caused people to wonder what the hell is wrong with me, I just haven't had much sleep lately. With the boss staying here, and this week is officially "People Week", where we celebrate our employees. I see now that much of that responsibility falls on the store manager, and since she is here, I have been helping. Shopping for groceries for it on Sunday night, and then working until 8pm Monday night, and coming home to cook until the wee hours, has left me no "me time".

Now Caitlyns car isn't running well, so she has my Jeep today, and I am riding with the boss in to work, as we are stopping to tour other stores, to get ideas on our "Zone Boards". I thought I had good ideas until recently when I worked one day in Monroe. I want to take a better look at their stuff, and ask questions. Our inspection thing is coming up fast, and we need to kiss a little a__...

I am posting this in the morning, which is very unusual for me. Since I have not had time at night, this may work better for now. I didn't come home from work until after 9pm last night, so I brought Mike some leftover carne asada that we had served all day at work. I have now got my Asian ribs marinating in the fridge, so we can fire up the bbq tonight.

Mike has nearly completed painting the one bedroom, and it is really looking quite good. I have not helped with this projuect, and I think he is a bit miffed at me for that. I just haven't had the time. I promised him I would help him tonight, to finish it up.
