I spent the day with my granddaughter today, as usual on a Thursday. She is getting so grown-up! At 18 months, she recognizes various letters of the alphabet! She is speaking in two word sentences, and impressing the daylights out of me! Oh, and she is the cutest thing I have ever seen, too! We did a whole lot of running around. Two different Costco's...the business center is always fun. I forgot to stop at the bank, but I can do that in the morning, plus I need to stop by the Verizon store, and pay that bill, and take in a Fios box and trade it in for a HD Fios box. Mike has the second TV hooked up, right above the first one. We are a regular sports bar now, matter of fact, on Friday night, we had the Bosses boys over, and they were playing video games with the 42" TV, while we watched the UW Huskies play football with the 32" above. I thought it was pretty neat, seeing both thrillers from my seat off to the side. I have not been keeping up writing here, as things have been hectic. This computer is slow as hell...Having problems printing things, when I need them now. DOne a couple spread sheet things for work, and now I can't print. I have emailed them to the boss, so she can do it at work. I hope it doesn't infect someone elses machine. The Boss is house sitting next week, then she has an apartment lined up for the next day. Her time here is nearly over. Seems weird, but I have gotten close to her, and I will miss her company immensely. She has been better company than my kids were when they lived here. Plus the fact she does dishes...She really needs to reconnect with the boys. Her and her estranged husband both have apartments close to each other, within walking distance to the school. I think it should work out, as long as they remain on decent talking terms. I wish them the best of luck... |
