A "G-Rated Journal" That Even My Mother Can Read (because she does!)

Effervescence is a state of mind. It's about choosing to bring sunshine to the day.
Every person I meet matters.

If it's written down, I know it (If it's not written down, I don't know it)
If it's color-coded, I understand it (If it's not color-coded, I don't understand it)

4 Boxes Down and Done!

Mon Sep 12 - Work was a scattered thing, where I never really felt like I was completely focused or concentrating. My co-worker Craig helped me drop off my car for an oil change after lunch, much needed since I put so many miles on my baby 'Zuli. (My car's name is "Lapis Lazuli" but just 'Zuli for short.)

After Lilya's brother flaked on being available to pick her up from LAX, I ended up being her only emergency backup ride. So I sat through traffic, dropped by a Michael's craft store to get more threads for lucet cords, and cleaned my car to make room for her... and then in good timing she was landed, had her baggage, and was waiting out front for me when I was ready to just sit and wait. So that was a nice thing.

After dropping Lilya off at her place, I headed home, and even got there a few minutes before Adrienne and Emily got there. Mina was rested from the WMA sword thing in Racine, and so I got to say hi to my roomie a little. I spent from 5am to 8am this morning really scrubbing and cleaning and tidying the house before she got home from her trip, and I felt really good about having a clean house for everyone.

So then Adrienne and Emily and I walked over to Pick-up Stix for dinner with Jeff, although we changed our minds and went next door for Baja Fresh instead. Jeff was so exhausted after effectively getting up at midnight our time, getting only 2 hours sleep on the plane, and working a full day. But the four of us had a *lovely* dinner together then he headed home for sleep and us three girls all walked back to my place.

So I sat on the floor and opened the last four boxes of cardboard in my room, topped off the good will box that was only half full, filled one box with trash, and moved a bunch of books and things to all the right bookcases.

Oh!! And I found all my board games and things! I had actually forgotten how much I love games until I found them all again and got such a happy jolt uncovering my classic games. So they're all going out into the living room so when friends come over we can play games together. Whee!!!
