But occasionally it will get turned. The subject matter in this matter is cannibalism. Not just any cannibalism. Consensual cannibalism.
The victim (or willing party), a well-paid Siemens microchip engineer, Bernd-Juergen Brandes, wrote back to cannibal and German computer expert Armin Meiwes, 42: 'I offer myself to you and will let you dine from my live body. Not butchery, dining!! Whoever REALLY wants to do it will need a REAL VICTIM!!' Then he took a day off from his job, bought a one-way train ticket, and met Meiwes in his home town of Rotenburg. I won't go into details but I'm sure if you'll find it archived in some international online newspaper. Although I can technically attribute the churning to hunger (I haven't had breakfast), I do feel rather nauseated reading this case. Now, this coming from someone who can happily chomp pizza through any horror movie. I realise there are limits after all to my apparently high threshold. It reminds me I am still human, and I am glad for that. :D Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
