Christine's New Chapter

It's been a good day and a blah day. The blah part, fortunately, came at the beginning of the day when I called the NY editor again, and while she answered the phone, she had laryngitis, so I told her I'd call again on Friday. Errk! Frustration galore. But I'll probably give her until Monday to feel better before I call - we'll see!

The good part, I got some great ideas for the new Rome story from Jenn at our meeting today. Gosh but we're awfully synergistic lately - able to see each other's writerly needs and supply what's missing. It feels damn good. And while waiting for hubby to join me for a sack lunch, I managed to get down some thoughts and openings and woo! I'm really pleased.

Then I came home, and lost myself in a novel, the last of the Key trilogy by Nora Roberts. Even managed to finish it in...let's see...4 hours? give or take a few minutes. 332 pages. With interruptions, of course, having two children and two dogs and a cat. But still - ahhh. A wonderful novel, a rare way to spend an afternoon.

I'm ready to write, but that can wait until tomorrow. Now I've got hungry males wanting their dinner.

Pasta with white clam sauce, anyone?

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
