Never did get back to bed. Did yoga, ate breakfast, went to soccer game, went to Best Buy, and Enchanted Nursery for bare root roses, to Costco to pick up my glasses, came home changed clothes threw together a ham and cheese sandwich then the honk came from out front and I was off to a birthday party at Medieval Times down south somewhere.

I got back maybe a half an hour ago. My eyes are sooo tired. But we had a blast, me, another mom, and four ten year olds. I was yelling and screaming with the best of them - though one kanigget had a french accent, one a british accent, and the king himself was one hundred percent american. Huh.

But the horses were fabulous, the dressage they performed marvelous. And the fights - the boys were on the edge of their seats, trying to learn how they did what they did.

Now before I keel over from sheer exhaustion, I'll finish my wine and head to bed. Hopefully I'll be able to sleep this time, all the way through the night. Time enough tomorrow to look at the new story.
