Had a fabulous meeting with Jenn today. We talked about her two wonderful short stories (one a companion to another she'd sold) and about my first chapter.

I must say, I got the best of the deal because we brainstormed the story and I've got several good avenues to deal with. As well as positive feedback on the characters. Not bad for a mere thirteen pages.

Now if I can only push on and finish the next two chapters and an outline...

Hubby and I had lunch together, something that brightens both of our mid-weeks. Then I went and ruined it by clothes shopping with a full-fledged teenaged boy. God save me from ever doing it again.

Anyway.

Washed said teen's band tux pants, after pulling out the four inch hems, and lo and behold, the pants fit him without hems. I have no more sewing to do! Yay. And he is exceedingly grateful to be in his last semester of Band, having been accepted at the local Magnet High School for Performing Arts, Systems Technology, and Academic Arts. He, of course, wants to hit hard the Systems Technology. Who are we to stand in the way of a budding computer geek?

And the buzzer rings, signalling dinner being ready.
