Christine's New Chapter
Never look down...

DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.

Disneyland...and points beyond.

My 13 year old went to Disneyland today, to play with his school concert band at a festival. He had to be at the school parking lot at 5:30am this morning, and we pick him up at 11pm tonight - that makes for a long day!

I hope he's having fun. He's learning to carry a wallet with his school ID in it, as well as money. He'll have to do that when he goes off to Washington D.C. next week with his school buddies, so he may as well get used to it.

My baby is growing up.

As for the garden, we have 3 cucumbers coming up! And a ton of carrots, so I'm a happy gardener today. Still only 14 corns, but I replanted the areas that hadn't sprouted on Sunday, so hopefully in a couple weeks we'll get more corn.

The lime tree and the orange tree both have set fruit, though both our lemons are lemonless at this point. Shock, probably, from being transplanted. Next year, I hope.

And on another note, the puffy eyes are still puffy but getting better after some cortisone, and more benedryl to cut the itchies.

Writing-wise, this week has been a bust; but I hope to pull myself together tomorrow and come up with another chapter of the singer story, and an outline for the stepson story. That's the one I'm gonna need to really plug away at, as I'll be pitching it a week from Saturday - eek! So I've just got to get off the benedryl so I can function. Almost there. Not quite, but almost. And if I get a go-ahead on this one, then maybe at Nationals I can look around for an agent. Maybe. It's a thought.

But I'd love to sell something before September. Or at least get real, real close to selling before then, because that's when our three years are up.

Gulp.
