Christine's New Chapter

Or should those be considered 'clean-ups'? Anyway, nothing new today but did dither with what I'd written yesterday.

Met with an old friend named Kelie today, to whom at some point in time I'd sent my Very First Novel. Ahem.
At least she didn't chuck it into the trash.

No actually, she (now that I think about it) was the first real Reader of the piece, so she was able to crit it in ways others haven't (too close to it, etc). I definitely need to rewrite the novel and add a TON more stuff in there about ballet.

Anyway - we had a GREAT couple of hours chatting. It was so good to see her - Gosh, we've been friends (okay, not especially close, but yes friendly) for almost 20 years!!! Kelie, did you notice that?!! Boggles the mind. No, we're not getting old. I swear.

At any rate, by the time I got home it was too hot to even think (breaking a sweat while thinking is just not pleasant, IMHO). So I edited.

Not too shabby. And tomorrow I get to see the lovely and talented Jenn! So life is good, outside of the beastly heat that has smothered my good will faster than a wool blanket in Texas at a July 4th party.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
