8 pages, I'm thinking, will have to do for today.

I managed to get quite a bit done this morning. Since the kids got home, however, I've been paralyzed.

My eldest is stuck on a 'stupid' poetry assignment - one that I fully agree is stupid, guaranteed to put kids off poetry - both reading and writing it - for life. He's re-doing it for the third time, and panicked because he's basically got today to work on it since the weekend is FUCKED.

Sorry. Anyway, I sent him off to swim at a neighbor's house for an hour. Hopefully after that he'll be able to get into the flow again.

His angst has fed mine and my stomach is in knots contemplating this weekend. I'm seriously considering not going down to San Diego for Mother's Day. I'd hate that, but it will be better for me to see her at another time - next weekend, perhaps. This one is just not good.

And dh called wanting to see a 4:45 show of Van Helsing. His timing just couldn't have been worse and I had to say no - so he's not too thrilled with me.

Hard to be creative when your stomach hurts.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
