Exercise Done... Walked - and walked - and walked

We didn't get in to hear "The Red Violin" or "Fancy Free" or "Enigma Variations" - the seats they had available were $68 a piece. Only one $35 seat became available 30 minutes prior to curtain - so we bagged it.

Took the boys on a tour of the new Cathedral - which looked clean and modern and somehow soulless when compared to the cathedrals in Rome. I guess it's stupid to compare...

Went on to China Town, did tons of window shopping in all the neat stores. I picked up some incense and a couple niknaks, and a hole bunch of sparklers. I wonder if I can take them to Dallas? That would be fun to do at Von's house at night...

Ate lunch (a HUGE lunch - tons of leftovers) at a restaurant where they said "RUSH HOUR" was filmed. Small place, good food, what's not to like?

We got home about five. I napped on the way home, having gotten up way too early today. Did some putzing around and then actually sat down and wrote three more pages. Now I'm off, to see if I can help eldest son finish this GDSOB poetry project.

I swear, only actors should be allowed to teach poetry. It should be illegal for English teachers to teach it, because they (almost) always get the teaching part of it wrong.

But I still wish I had run this morning with Jenn and Kenny.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
