Today I was on a mission to add fluff to two of my younger son's bears. These are good bears that get played with a lot, and they needed more fluff - their heads were floppy, and they couldn't sit well at all.

Their hurts are healed! A trip to the local craft store brought fluff into their lives - a few snips of thread, much stuffing action, topped with some brief sewing - and the bears have new, shapelier silhouettes. Quite the opposite of lipo, when you stop to think about it. So don't. Think about it, I mean.

Anyway. I also bought some pretty scrapbooking paper to line my bathroom drawers with. Looks so much better than the shocking yellow, bright white and shiny silver zebra stripes that were in the bottom of the drawers. So I rejoice at the ability to use spray adhesive, and move on.

I also entered the Golden Gateway contest that From The Heart Romance Writers puts on each year. I need to know what's wrong with my chick lit, and figured if I entered it into the contest as a Single Title, I may have a shot at finalling - and if not, at least I'll be able to figure out where to go with that story. It does need help. Considering that all the entries need to be in by tomorrow (including money), I was grateful that it was an online contest and that they took Paypal. So I entered by the skin of my teeth.

Had a wonderful dinner with the nurses at their house, and then we proceeded to badger the Lakers into winning the Western Conference Division. Now all they have to do is win the Finals, and I'll be a happy woman all summer, I promise.
