I'm rewriting Cinderella's Daughter, and this time putting cohesion behind the story *g*. It's different, finding the right place to start a short contemporary. When I first wrote this for NaNoWriMo, I just wrote - and it took, what, fourteen pages before my hero and heroine met. Can't do that in category.

So I played this afternoon, tossed pages, rewrote dialog, rewrote perspective, caught POV issues - blush - and really am more confused than I was when I started, but in a good way. Does that count?!

I think, tomorrow, I'll start from scratch, with a clean page, and try again. Couldn't hurt.

Which reminds me, we're off to Arizona tomorrow to see Hubby's mom, and brother, and other assorted family. It's past time and they aren't well. We'll be gone until Monday. Which kinda sucks, but at least I'll have my laptop with me and can write when I'm there. I know we've got dinner plans at least once, perhaps twice, but there's gonna be a lot of downtime in hot, hot Phoenix.
