Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing. |

2004-08-13 7:01 PM Pride Goeth... Pages Written... 0. Yeah, I know. sigh.
Listening to... Dogs panting, kids killing cyber enemies Exercise Done... Yep Okay. I guess I was TOO excited about Nationals. TOO thrilled that I may have a short story opportunity. And, dang it, TOO happy I wrote 16 pages yesterday. Because as I was sitting down to write today, the - well, I was going to say the bottom fell out of my world, but that's not true - no one close to me died. No, what happened was almost worse in a way - limbo, instead of death. Stephanie, the Editor at Har/Sil that I've had a relationship with for two and a half years, has been restructured out of a job (so the rumors go). Though her phone still has her message on it. (Damn, I should have called today.) Anyway, the two ms that she's requested have no home to go to now. Not that they're ready, but still - talk about a rude awakening, a cold shower on enthusiasm, etc. etc. etc. So I consider that 'my fall'. Well. Time for a luscious steak dinner with a spinach salad (can we say, 'low iron'? - my blood didn't pass the iron test today, so I couldn't donate), and then a bit of the Olympics opening ceremonies and some family time D&D. I'll write some more on the novel tomorrow. Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
