Christine's New Chapter

Just got critiques back on my second Lily chapter - and I've decided I've got to pull the entire book apart and put it back together, focusing on what drives Lily throughout the book.

Currently it's amusing, but not too compelling. I'd like to change that and make it both amusing and compelling - and perhaps just a tad on the edgy side. That would be cool. And perhaps the next one, which has already seen an edgy side, would follow well on this one. And perhaps I've finally found my writing style.

We'll see what happens with the rewrite. I'm REALLY glad I got the guts up to start this group, though. Nothing like real feedback to make you look at your work.

Today is going to be HOT. We'll head out this afternoon to catch a showing of HERO, before having dinner with the nurses. And tomorrow is another day off - that's a wonderful thing. And maybe, when school starts on Tuesday, I can actually get some real good work done.

Just maybe.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
