There is so much to do this weekend. Two soccer games, a birthday/clay party, friends for dinner tonight and tomorrow, a house to clean, food to prepare - I'm tired just thinking about it. I want to hide somewhere until it's all over.

Except the part where people eat food I prepare and they really like it. And talking to good friends. And laughing over stupid jokes.

Okay, maybe I won't hide...

Next week, it's back to the Farm to work for a few hours a day. As much as I'm not thrilled with having to do it, that the opportunity is there for me to take advantage of is a good thing.

Okay. Off to make cupcakes (I'm 'snack mom' for tomorrow's game), put together some bruschetta topping, and think about cleaning up the kitchen. I've already tackled the refrigerator - that kept me cool for a bit! But I've got my eagle eye on the rest of the place.

Oh, and a word about the Lily book. It's coming along. It seems to be a random process, rewriting that book. Ways to make things tie in together come to me at the oddest hours. Now, if only I can remember all my wonderful thoughts...
