Maybe it's the cold. Maybe it's the doldrums still from my only publisher connection being severed this August. Whatever it is, this week has sucked on a physical level AND a writing level (as in, not a damned thing worth mentioning has gotten done).

Maybe it's the nap I took today (MUCHLY needed) that is now causing me to be far from sleep, yawns notwithstanding.

On Monday I took an aerobics class, and then a yoga class. Felt great (tired, but great) afterwards. Physically it's been downhill since. Tomorrow I have an opportunity to take an aerobics class, and then a pilates class. But I'm not sure I'm up to it, however much I may want to be.

And tomorrow I've got dinner guests again, though they are bringing dinner thank goodness. The job I thought I had is gone, or at the most will only be a couple half-shifts a week; so I accepted a four day gig in late October, in Las Vegas, that pays well but I may not get it because I turned it down first and then changed my mind.

Sigh. At least I got the mortgage paid today. That was a highlight.

Well, time to go back and try to sleep. Perchance to dream...
