Christine's New Chapter

I just (okay, about half an hour ago now) got off the phone with Scott Eagan with the Greyhaus Literary Agency. Last Monday, I had sent off a query letter, the first five pages of my chick lit, and the synopsis.

Well. He called this afternoon, said he had just gotten done reading my submission, and based upon what I had sent, he'd like to see the entire manuscript! WOO! Can I *be* more excited? (Well, yeah, but hell - this is a terrific start!)

I mean, no he didn't say right off that he wants to represent me - but it's awfully nice that he liked what he read, and wants to see the rest.

Whew. Okay. Now I've got to power through the re-writes (I'm in a sticky section of chapter 11). He knows I'm taking a character out - and that I'm in the middle of re-writes. He said to email him when I'm done with all my editing, and then send the manuscript so he can keep an eye out for it.

I am completely, totally, utterly stoked. I'm off to beam at the universe for awhile, then to write.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
