Okay, so I didn't get my manuscript rewritten today. Oh well. I did get to watch both my sons' teams win their soccer games today.

I did get to cook a fabulous dinner for my family. And now I'm listening to the wind howl outside. So there's the simple pleasure of being able to afford housing that doesn't whistle in the wind, that doesn't creak with every blow.

And then there's always the pleasure of watching any of the LOTR movies, none of which I can in good conscious call a simple pleasure...such dedication went into the movies.

And tomorrow, I'll water the plants (onions have sprouted, hooray!) and build coil pots for gifts and perhaps, even, manage to put up the clean laundry.

A simple pleasure in its own right, I think.
