We're home. Christmas was good, parents are good, traffic was good, but the Chargers lost in overtime, boo. I made an awesome turkey yesterday, and Christmas Eve we had the extended family over at Mom & Dad's. We had pie, cookies and some spicy cranberry salsa with chips that my niece-in-law (aw, heck - she's my niece) makes - wonderful stuff! I even "stole" some in a container to bring home with me. I have the recipe, but she makes it sooo good...and add in some whipped cream cheese...yum!

Went right to work when we got home at noon, me cleaning in the kitchen and the boys outside mowing and weed-whipping and doing other garden chores in preparation for the rains to come this week. (It's supposed to rain until Thursday...we'll see.) We've even done some laundry over at our neighbors' house - they're gone and our washer is still out of commission (though I think the floor is FINALLY dry).

Now most chores are done (including new memory in computers), the stockings are finally gone through, a fire is burning in the fireplace and Windham Hill is on the cd player. Time to make dinner and chill.
