It didn't really start raining until late afternoon yesterday. But then, it didn't stop.

By morning, our backyard was under three inches of water, and our front yard was also very wet. Hubby set the hose for maximum drainage from the back yard to the street out front. So even though it's raining again now, the water level out back should remain at a manageable level.

Because of the rain, I kept myself inside (a luxury!) all day today, with visits to the trashcan my only foray outside. I've been using the day to toss, and put photos in albums (yeah, me too, Wendy!), pack up books to donate, and so forth. Haven't gotten to the dusting yet, but I"m working on it!
