Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing. |

2005-01-12 5:20 PM Friends Pages Written... 0 but the day's young yet
Listening to... Dawson's Creek soundtrack Exercise Done... Walked 1 mile Today ended up being a day for friends. Saw Jenn and Greg at Lulu's Beehive this morning - we had a lovely writing and bitching session along with our morning coffee. And I had a revelation as I waded through traffic to get there this morning - Lulu's Beehive is, in the weight-conscious capital of the world that Los Angeles has become, so totally "incorrect" and I love it. In the pastry case, there's not a tofu sandwich or a yogurt container to be found. Nothing but lovely carbs and sugar - muffins, cakes, pastries, bagels. They have soups and sandwiches, but nothing too terribly overly health-conscious, which I adore. No wonder we continue to go to Lulu's after so long. No pressure, lol! Anyway - after I got back to my car (I had a bit of a walk, in order to find a free space) and plugged my phone in, I found out another friend was free for lunch if I was and would I please call her? Well of course, she was on her cell - didn't leave her cell number on my cell - and I didn't have it programmed in. (Since taken care of.) By the time I got home and called her on HER cell, she'd had lunch - but was up for a walk. So she swung by, we walked and talked (one of the brighter women in my valley, btw...), went back to my house and drank peppermint tea and chatted some more until it was time to get the monster from school. So what with one friend and another, not a lot of writing got done today. But, you know, the day is not over. There's still time. I can't think of a better reason to not have written, though, than spending a day with friends. Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
