It's the only bad part of coming home - the wakefulness, the tiredness underlying, the knowledge of too much to do while you know you should just go back to sleep before the clock runs out and it's time to start the day.

Hubby's bug finally caught up with him. He's feverish and got the chills, so he's been up and down since we went to bed. Determined to go to work, though, since all he does is 'sit on his butt and think', as he put it. Oh well. I'm thinking, chicken soup for dinner...

I've finally caught up with the spam and the emails, but still haven't gotten my head around to thinking about work. Will probably clean in my office (when, you know, the sun rises) and do laundry as a way to ease into the writing...but really need to read, then rewrite, Evie's story. So I guess that's next, in order to get it out the door before too much longer. Beyond that, I'm staying open to possibility.

Hmm. Just noticed my jelly bean jar is almost empty. I'll have to do something about that later. Now, I think I'll have a snack and then get back to bed. Or maybe I'll read for awhile. Decisions, decisions.
