Christine's New Chapter

I had a witty and brilliant entry here, but due to fumble fingers, I lost it. *shrug* as my older son says.

A fast recap: Friday was spent at Disneyland/Disney's California Adventure. If you've never been to DCA, go. It is SO worth it.

Yesterday and today, I was Annie the Gardener. So now my arms hurt, my legs hurt, my feet hurt - but weeds have been vanquished and plants have been planted. New Zealand Bronze flax. Acer Chinese Dragon Red Maple. Timber bamboo. Johnny Jump-ups. Lupins. (Yes, LUPINS.) I even found a couple dried up geraniums, one with a lovely spearmint smell, another with a pretty pink flower. I'm hoping all these plants grow and spread over Yazger's Hill, making it more or less self-sustaining (self-seeding, actually, if they aren't perennials).

Not to mention, shopping was done, dinner made, and the nurses and assorted kids were fed.

Now I'm exhausted, full, and ready to read before sleep.

Tomorrow I tackle the prologue and the first chapter. 40 pages this week, or bust!

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
