Went to Borders today, discovered that I really can't get anything done anymore at home. Don't know why - is it because I haven't cleaned up my office? Is it because there are too many distractions?

Whatever the reason, Borders offered me time space and the luxury of words. Bit by bit (after throwing out all of previous chapter 2 revised), I felt the good coming back. Nice shiny concepts displayed in words that conveyed my meanings. There is joy.

So I'm pleased. Could have stayed and written longer, but there were no foodstuffs in the Borders cafe display cases - no bagels, no sandwiches, nothing. Nada. So why stay there for lunch?

Tomorrow will be busy - writing, meeting Jenn, home again, then Dodgers tomorrow night. Free tickets, and it'll be our only baseball game this season, so we may as well go.

Oh - and son's tournament soccer team is undefeated so far. (2 ties, 1 win - no placing, however.) This weekend we're in Moorpark - closer, thank goodness. Though I must say I never realized how pretty Carpinteria is...

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
