Cardinal Joseph Ratzenberger, now Pope Benedict XVI, is considered an arch conservative among the college of cardinals, at a guess a fairly conservative bunch. I've read where most German Catholics did not want him to be picked (prior, of course, to the picking).

I get the feeling that the Cardinals are treading the conservative water with this pope, as he is 78. Perhaps his reign will be a short one, and a young progressive Latin American Cardinal will be chosen next.

One can only hope.

At the bookstore today (where I wrote 8.5 pages), I saw one man reading every magazine he could get his hands on about Pope John Paul II. A woman sitting near me was reading "The Courage To Be Catholic".

It was an odd atmosphere to be writing a romance in. I didn't have my music with me, either, which made it really surreal. Luckily everyone for the most part was quiet.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
