Exercise Done... see yesterday

So the abs have checked in. I noticed it this morning, before I even got out of bed. A tightening, cross-wise (hip to hip), low down. Oh. OH! I have AB MUSCLES there! Who knew???

And then I got up, and my legs started protesting. My abs are just a tiny little 'ahem' next to my quads screaming 'WHAT THE F*&% HAPPENED TO ME!' Quads aren't too bright, I've decided. And the good news is my hamstrings are just fine, thank you.

The arms have been heard from too, but tomorrow they'll really get it. Yesterday was just a girly workout, not the Real Thing.

So. We'll see.

And Friday is Frank's funeral. We're going dressed in Hawaiian shirts, as Frank was a die-hard surfer until he got too heavy and his job was too far away from the ocean. I'm expecting the after-mass party to last long into the night. If it's an open casket funeral, hubby plans to slip a deck of cards inside.

When Jenn gets a tad more settled (she's off to WisCon tomorrow), I'll have her show me how to post a picture here, and I'll post the one of us (the poker gang) all laughing our asses off.

Because that's the way I want to remember Frank.
