Exercise Done... 1 hr scraping woodwork

Well, the parties went well. Yesterday's turned out to be a 50th birthday, which we weren't told so that was a tad awkward. But I didn't over eat, and I didn't over drink, and I spent a ton of time talking to some lovely pagans about their handfasting. A gorgeous gay couple, Dean and Peter, and their ceremony was beautiful (yeah, I saw pictures!).

I also talked to good friends, enjoyed the breezes out on the patio, and really had a good time when I hadn't expected to, so always a plus.

This afternoon we went to a 13th & 45th birthday party. I took home made potato salad, corn on the cob, a watermelon - it was all good. The kids played in the pool most every minute, and Tom and I visited. Again, a good time was had by all.

Now we're home and the evening stretches out in front of us. I've got more scraping to do (and I just washed my hair, darn it!) and some cooking for tomorrow's feasties. Perhaps a walk in the cool of twilight.

And the best part is, tomorrow is a holiday! Another weekend day to enjoy, with fireworks at the end of it. Life is sweet!
