Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing. |

After several stupid emails from Amazon along the lines of, "We can't guarantee you'll get the new HP book on Saturday oops sorry' and 'previous email was a mistake' and shipping info that said delivery date was Tuesday, the book DID finally arrive - in the mailbox, of all places. Sheesh. I guess Amazon had a ton of angry emails, because yesterday we got another one from them giving us a dollar off the book - so instead of $17.99, it's $16.99. Interesting. Hubby had said that if it didn't come on Saturday as promised, we'd go buy one elsewhere that day and refuse delivery of the one that did come. So all in all I'm glad it worked out, though hubby was PISSED to say the least until it arrived. Now, the book. The book is GOOD. It answers questions about a lot of different things, it opens up more questions to be answered in the next one, and points pretty directly to how book 7 will start. There is funny stuff, sad stuff, irritating stuff, and icky stuff (depending on age and gender re: icky stuff). I picked it up when my younger son was off with a friend yesterday, read it straight through - finished it in about 4 hours, if not less. Younger son did get it done yesterday - when he'd left it, he only had about 100 pages to go. My older son now has the book in custody, which just makes me smile wide. The funniest thing, though, is that in Chapter two younger son came in, crowing. "I found the first typo!" Sure enough, he did. I'll make an editor or a writer out of him yet, by golly.
