I ran around the city today, shopping for our trip. Hither and yon. Came home, did laundry, tried to figure out the complexity of the stove in the popup, started loading stuff in.

Packed. Sorted. Did more laundry. Watched two eps of Buffy and a half of Angel.

Then I went off to an AYSO meeting, handing out teams to the coaches and all. Not too far from home, luckily. Left at 7:45, just as it starts to get dark.

First, I couldn't tell exactly if my headlights were on. Then I noticed the dash lights were awfully dim. My windshield wipers moved slowly to clean my windshield. And the windows almost didn't go up.

I didn't really worry, though, until my radio went out. And at every stoplight from then on until home, it took the car a few extra moments to get up enough oomph to actually start. But I DID get all the way home, and parked in the driveway. Such a relief.

I fear this is the beginning of the end for the Tan Beastie. The ABS brakelight also came on...the electrical system is dying.

Long live the Tan Beastie.
