Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing. |

2005-09-12 6:43 AM My immediate future I finally got in touch with a live body at the Red Cross. She sent me to another phone number though, which had a recording for potential volunteers. Even though they said they need 40,000 volunteers over the next few months, they aren't taking anyone currently. They need to train and process and position the folks they already have signed up before they can train, process and position other people.
So that's my volunteer balloon of optimism popped. I guess I won't be going at all, now, since I need to get a job. And that really sucks. Tomorrow I start job hunting. I don't even have suits any more - gave them all away. I've forgotten how to be a corporate person...and a tad scared to be a counter jockey at a store somewhere, but we'll see. I'm going to look local first, then spread out. ********************************************************* An interesting side note from my stint in the show. I put together my picture and acting resume yesterday, the resume from memory and asking a lot of "do you remember" questions of hubby. Turns out I've got a pretty decent resume, I've done quite a lot of stuff. So there's another risky dream rekindled...but it would be nifty to be 'discovered' at my age. ********************************************************* I feel uncertain, taking steps into a new future and therefore a new me and not totally sure of how it'll all end up. It would be nice if money didn't play such an important part in daily life, wouldn't it? Read/Post Comments (4) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
