Christine's New Chapter
Never look down...

DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.

Blurry

A wasted day. I made it to my eye doc with no problem...even drove the tan beastie to my appointment, in prep for taking it to the farm today. Had to make sure it still ran.

Well...he put eyedrops in my eyes to dilate them, so he could check for disease. Three different sets of drops, one of which was a bright piss-yellow.

My eyes remained dilated for about six hours. Couldn't see to type, much less read what I'd typed. I mean, I'm a touch typist so not that big a deal...but it's nice to be able to pick up your train of thought.

Couldn't even go outside and paint, as it was too bright. Like about blinded me just turning the kitchen light on.

But...the van is at the farm. I came home with lovely bunches of veggies and fruits (FIGS! FRESH FIGS! YUMMY!!!) to last quite a while, for which my pocketbook is grateful.

Elder son, however, is ill. Went to bed last night with the sniffles - woke with a stuffy head. Came home from school with a fever; and didn't want to go to soccer practice, which he LOVES. I promptly put him to bed and, when he asked for chicken soup for dinner, rolled up my sleeves.

There's soup to be made! (Actually, almost done now.) The sad part about this is, tomorrow is his 15th birthday and he's supposed to go to a Galaxy game with us. If he's sick, he's staying home and that's all there is to it.

Poor boy.
