Well, the dam is broken and I've written 5 pages on the new direction this gol-darned story will now take. Perhaps I can finally get it written.

I can't believe how fast this week has gone. I worked Monday morning, Tuesday morning, Wednesday night, all day on Thursday, and on Friday morning I cleaned my office in prep for the new washer (which gave way last week) - GORGEOUS new washer! - we hope to purchase it's dryer mate in six months or so. Luck was with us and it came before I had to leave for work (friday was 3-9:30pm).

The new mall is beautiful, a real town center - outdoor fireplace (a terrific gathering place w/rocking chairs and all, located right outside my store), a play area for kids, even a ceramic dragon wending its way through the center walkway. Really nice.

Because I worked so much last week, I'm only scheduled for 19 hours this week - a nice surprise. I've got tomorrow off (today too) and only on call for Tuesday - work Wednesday, off Thursday, work Fri & saturday. Not totally ideal, but I'll get my son to his dentist appt and that's all to the good.

But I wrote tonight. I'm feeling like, after some power shopping tomorrow (work clothes, you know), that I'll write tomorrow.

And I've got nifty, Ugg-type booties that hubby bought me, to soothe and warm my tootsies after a hard day on my feet.

They're pink. While I don't see myself wearing them out and about much, they're perfect for home and driving the kids to school.

Pink booties. Life is good.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
