Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing. |

Listening to... the clock ticking I woke up about twoish, couldn't get back to sleep so I came out to write. Got a short story written, it needs work but darn it it's finished. Later on today, I'll be at a Barnes & Noble all day - we're taking the Honda in for work. It's WAY overdue. My income is taking a hit next month, so I don't know exactly what I'll be doing work-wise. In January I'll probably have to look for a real job, instead of retail. Too many bills and not enough income, which sucks. ********************************************************* Soccer notes: The Los Angeles Galaxy won the Major League Soccer championship here in the U.S. against the New England Revolution! 1-0 in overtime. Second time in ten years, so we were happy about it! My eldest son's team lost all 3 games on Saturday, but by the third game the coach decided to switch up the roster - our goalie played mid-field, our defense played forward, our forwards took turns playing goalie. That we kept the other team scoreless until late in the first half was nothing short of a miracle, and you could tell the boys were having tons of fun. (The parents were pretty giddy, too!) That game we lost, 6-1 - and the other team was plenty pissed that we got a point. Our other two games were 2-0 and 4-1. We were out matched by teams that have played together for years - our team has played for only one season. Simi AYSO doesn't believe in keeping teams together that way, so we'll always be at the bottom of the rankings. But that's okay because the kids who are really serious about soccer go to play club. Anyway. A soccer weekend, with writing done. Woo! Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
