Working retail really sucks..

As a part time person, I am scheduled for a week at a time. At any time during that week, they can call me off, they can switch my schedule from a full day to an on-call day, they can extend my hours beyond what I had originally been called in for. I can even go in to work and they can tell me to go home!!! (Which totally sucks.)

I was on-call today, but not feeling well. When I called in, they said no worries, I could stay home and feel better. Then I get a call later in the afternoon, telling me my shift for Saturday has changed - instead of being in the *store* from 10-6, I'm *on call* from 10-6, thankyouverymuch. Helping me get better, the manager said.

Harumph. Don't these chicks know I need the money?!!

In happier news, I've finished packing the box to go to Colorado. San Diego needs two boxes packed, and then it's off to the post office for me.

And the new story progresses, so all is well.
