No, not another kitty. That, in many ways, would be easier to deal with.

No, Annie is a guitar. A Takimine OM (grand concert) guitar. Hubby made me open it tonight, so he could say it technically *wasn't* a Christmas present. I was pretty sure he'd buy me one for my birthday...but had no idea he'd gift me one for an unChristmas present.

It's a beautiful sounding guitar, a terrific case, and he got it on eBay for much less than it's going for in music stores. I'm really very lucky.

But now, you see, I have to practice. And very probably say goodbye to my nails, which I have just achieved and do prize.

Oh well. A small sacrifice for a big gain.

Merry Christmas to all you peoples out there. Happy Hanukkuh. Terrific Kwaanza.
