Christine's New Chapter

I have a day off, and what do I do? Piss it away, that's what. Oh, and deal with the phone guys, the cable guys, the water guys and finally the gas guys, who are digging out an old gas pipe of ours and replacing it. Except they got called off to another emergency job and won't be back until Thursday.

Not to mention, our oven is dead. We're gonna have to buy a new one - with installation, it's at least $800 and that's for the bottom of the line gas oven that consistently works. (The appliance repair guy who came out said to stay away from the fancy ovens, because they just don't work. Funny, they all seem to be electric, too. Hmmm.) And WHY do I suddenly want to make COOKIES again??!!

I go to a conference this Friday night. I read aloud my first ten pages of my lily book for feedback from an agent and an editor. I pitch another book to an editor either Saturday or Sunday.

I am paralyzed, and I so can't afford this right now.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
