Christine's New Chapter

I don't like doing resolutions, but I do believe in goals. While September always feels like goal-setting time (I think it has something to do with new pens and paper and the start of school), January is the traditional time for reevaluation.

When thinking about my life, I decided I didn't want to, at this point, get too specific about the changes I want to make, so I came up with a different type of list.

I've decided I'm going to lose this year, and gain.

I will lose:
Clutter.
Worry over stupid stuff.
Indiscriminate spending.
Weight (well, yeah, have to put that on there!)
Negativity
Procrastination

I will gain:
Words
Joy in life
Fitness
Closeness to friends and family
Perspective
Determination
Control over controllables
Peace

And among all the change that the year will inevitably bring, I hope above all that I manage to keep my life balanced, for I surely lost that battle in 2006.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
