I'm reading two different - very different - novels right now. One is The Memory Keeper's Daughter, by Kim Edwards. The other one is The Pillow Friend, by Lisa Tuttle. Both excellent, both unforgettable in very different ways.

Good reads. Dare I say, literary reads. Not easy reads, or can't-pull-myself-away reads, but good. Compelling, even, in a dark and sly way.

I can't begin to write like these two authors. Not in a million years. My voice just doesn't bend that way.
