The last week of February I was very prolific in my pages. I only had 3 mornings to write, but I managed 10 pages each morning.

Then came the trip to Arizona to pay our respects to hubby's aunt, who passed away at the age of 90. A great visit, but the beginning of derailment. Monday was a recovery day - planting, etcetera.

Then my review. Then a corporate visit at work. Then work work work - and a trip to San Diego to see my dad yesterday. So much got put off this past week, it's not even funny. I've let down friends, let deadlines pass, not contacted people I work with on a newsletter. I haven't written a word.

Today will be a catch-up day. Install software. Write for the newsletter. Garden. Play with the dogs. I woke up an hour earlier than usual, and managed to get through the 300+ emails waiting for me.

It's still dark outside at 6:23 am...I've got a good start on the day.

Time for coffee and a cranberry orange scone.
