I'm lucky. I've got years to make up whatever losses the current financial crisis hands me. Others I know, fifteen and twenty years older than I, don't have that luxury.

Most of me doesn't want the government to bail anyone out - that's tantamount to saying capitalism doesn't work. Considering how our country was founded, it's anti-American for the government to step in.

We surely do live in interesting times.
