Christine's New Chapter
Never look down...

DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.

Exercise Done... does falling on ice count?

So I'm here in Snowmass. Got to spend some time watching Tammy wrangle the 2nd graders for her yearly musical at the grade school. She was amazing - so patient with kids. I'd have strangled the suckers.

When the costume committee met, I wrote - a bit - but couldn't finish the love scene I was in the middle of. I mean, I was in a grade school. In the cafeteria. It just felt - wrong, you know?

So I focused on blood and gore instead. Yeah. Like that made it any better.

At any rate. I'll be heading for a coffee shop in the morning, to write while she teaches music to preschoolers. And then repeat on Thursday. Hopefully, much writing will commence.

And bless her heart, she found snow shoes for me at the local thrift shop - $5. I am so walking my heart out tomorrow! It is beautiful here - sunny, fairly warm (between 39 and 45), and outside of my shoe choice, it's been a terrific day.

Dinner was fabulous, she has a young boy for me to torture with tickling and swordfighting (not to mention, he has a magic wand and turned me into a chicken - cluck!), and wine has been consumed. What more could a woman want?

It is now dark and though the night is early, I feel myself yawning. I hesitate to go to sleep so early - I dread waking at 4 in the morning. But then again, I'll have the computer...

My eyes are filling with sleep. Good night, people. Sweet, snowy dreams to you!
