I've decided I don't like writing where the web is available. I'm stuck right now - not enough thought going into the writing (usually no thought goes in at all, it's all extempore so to speak but lately...sigh), and I find I can't figure out what happens next. But instead of ploughing through, I hop onto email, or check out the weather, or whatever.

So even though I have the time and the support right now to write, I can't seem to get it together. And that just makes me all grrrish.

Finished a good book yesterday, Water for Elephants by Sarah Gruen. Just a lovely read. Will dig into Suite Francaise by Irene Nemirovsky next, which should take me through tomorrow. Then I'm out of books, and will need to hit up the bookstore.

I think I need to print out the entire novel and go through it, and figure out what is missing, what shouldn't be there, and how to get to the grand denoument. I know what it is, and I could dive right there to it, but writing a book backwards can be a frustrating exercise in and of itself. As Dayle knows! But the print out can't happen until I get home.

Grrrr. And it's not going to snow today, if the bright shiny yellow ball in the sky is any indication.

Grrrr!
