Okay. I saw the movie.

The cinematography was beautiful, the acting superb. My only problem came in the script.

Dali was written as passive/aggressive. Heavy on the passive. Okay, I get it, he was younger than Lorca. And maybe he was that passive. But did it make for a good script? Um, not so much.

Unfortunately, it's only in theatres for what. Two weeks? Most likely, no one I know will see it, and I'll have no one to debate about it.

But Javier Beltran and Robert Pattinson were exquisite with what they were given to do. I wish the ending could have been different - but after all, how different could it have been? It fit.

And I'm taking the whole thing as a fable rather than 'based on a true story'.

Final reaction? I'd see it again.
