Almost home. By this time tomorrow we'll be unpacking and doing laundry and just be all-around exhausted.

But I've gotten over 8K written on vacation, so I'm pleased. This book's structure is in place - I just have some adds to do, and for that I need to be home so I can get my research done.

I hope to talk to all my first readers in the coming week for the last book, and get that finished (still have some to add) and polished and out. But we'll see.

So much to get done. It's exciting, really! And another possible book made itself known, too, so I've got that on a back burner but it's very, very vague. I'm thinking that one needs more cooking time before it's ready for the computer.

This has been a wonderful vacation, but I'm ready to be home. I need to dive into a new routine of going to the gym, then coming home to write. Every day. That would be good.

Okay, I think I'm out of minutes now. I need to wrap this up. All email will be answered tomorrow night or Monday morning.

In the meantime, I've got just a few more hours of daylight on the open seas before it all goes dark. Once dark hits, it's almost time for us to be back in Long Beach.
