Christine's New Chapter

In the past two months, I've seen several movies, most at the Laemmle theatre near Jenn (!!).

Paris 36 - terrific!
Shall We Kiss - better in hindsight than while watching.
Adventureland - an American film, but not a BIG American film. Fits in nicely with the others here (and no, I didn't see it at the Laemmle).
Little Ashes - ready to see it again.
O'Horton - Fascinating.

I have decided that I'm not a huge fan of big American-style films. I prefer foreign films, mostly. Yes, I'm looking forward to the entire Twilight Saga filmage, and I'll catch the last one (or two?) of the Potter films, but.

O'Horton was either a Swedish or a Norwegian film. The lead actor was fabulous. It was less than two hours; and the time did not pass fast. But it was a brilliant lesson in storytelling.

If you get a chance, go see it. It'll only be in an art theatre near you for a week or so, at best.

I'm liking this trend of mine, seeing foreign films.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
