Christine's New Chapter

Vacation was wonderful! I can't believe it was two weeks ago at this point. I've been pulling 8 hour days at my part time job this week - 5a to 2p, M-W, then four more hours thursday and four more Saturday. My bank account is pleased, my body and life less so...and I go back tonight 3-midnight. Gah.

Tomorrow night is my last writing class with Heather Morgan. I'm glad I took it - not necessarily for my writing, but for the opportunity to hear other writers' work, new writers. Fascinating. Plus the quality time in the car with my eldest son, always a good thing.

I just signed up for a weekend with Bob Mayer in San Diego next month. The first day is limited to 11 people, so I'm thrilled to get the one on one feedback from him. The second day is more a boot camp for writers, which I also need. I want to drag my eldest son with me to that one, but we'll see. Go to bobmayer.org if you're interested.

Oh, and on Thursday last week, I had my second root canal of the summer. There went a thousand dollars.

Eldest is back in school. Youngest starts next week. Summer is drifting into fall on a wave of heat and humidity.

Christine's New Chapter Never look down... DEMON SOUL was released in MARCH, 2011 by Crescent Moon Press. DEMON HUNT will most likely be released 2012. This, then, is my new reality! The tumor has been removed and I'm recovering, so now it's all about the writing...and dealing with the writing.
