The tomatoes are almost gone. The zucchini finished a while ago. September is just a day or so away. My summer is over.

I learned a lot this year, about how to be unemployed, about how to write, about how to let myself moodle along until everything lines up and the words flow. I miss that. I want it back.

The last quarter of the year begins soon. I hope it's as productive as the first two have been.
